Trees caught my eye back when I was little girl.
I hope you're enjoying all the colors that Spring has to offer so far.
Here's a new post I had written to share with you this spring.
Dona Anderson
Growing up on the Canadian prairies we didn't have many trees in the fields where we lived.
And what fun it was to take a bouquet to my teacher in those early years.
We were lucky to have a few older tress in our back yard, and the first one held the swing and the one further back later became our tree for sitting in and then the tree house My 2 sisters and I made that we were very proud of.
On our travels I like to notice all the different kinds of trees, their leaves, shape height colors. flowers. berries, fruit or whatever they offer.
For some reason, I wrote a couple of relaxations that mentioned trees.
They weren't planned, they just came like the rest of the relaxations and these weekly posts out of no where and start to appear on the pages.
Perhaps life is somewhat similar ...
it just happens.
Everyday life we call it.
Our life activities, routines and habits.
It's from here we grow, learn, feel, nourish let go and support our lives.
We go through time, seasons and many changes like the trees.
They give us so much.
They are important to the earth, our health and future.
The 2 relaxations I mentioned above are in my book Moving Forward from the heart.
Forest of many trees p 84and Tree House p 122
Now I live in an area full of forests gardens and lots of different trees from ones that are very tall to fruit and flowering trees and where lots of birds live. It's great that this world offers us so much to be thankful for and protect.
Here's a few words from the meditation - Forest of many trees.
"Life even as a tree is busy and uncertain so just breathe, soften more, loosen the ties around Yourself, and spread out your branches ..."
to Have you heard about mother tree's before.?
If we get to know more about the tree's perhaps we will be
more proactive in conservation efforts.
And let's learn more about what trees do to protect
our life, health and the earth.
We all need to breathe.
PS. I saw this message on line and thought I'd share it.
'Be kind to the trees - they're busy saving the world."
If You were a tree - what kind would You be?
And don't forget the Maple trees and their amazing maple syrup!
Have a great Day!
Anyone up for a walk in the woods or around your neighborhood?
It's that time of year we get to enjoy natures beautiful
gifts of many colors!
PSS. While I'm taking some time off from my weekly posts I'm enjoying watching the spring bulbs and plants growing in the yard, the birds and even had a few afternoon naps with the dogs.
Lots of posts to see and share in the Archives
