Roots to Breath Wellness
is my way to help You, and it offers a mixture of things to support ease and promote your everyday wellness for the whole body, mind and spirit.  

I Remember what it was like to end the days from work and other activities tired and everything hurt.

What I'll be sharing doesn't last just one day. 

These weekly (Tuesday) posts will help you to build a wellness toolbox - a mix of comfortable resources to return to again and again.

Here's how. 
1) I'll share with You a mixture of stories, entertainment, poems, videos, photos & more to help you laugh, sing or just relax and absorb life and simple self care wellness moments.

2) Another way to help is to introduce you to my books - Simply, One Breath At a Time and Moving Forward from the Heart.

3) In addition to connecting you to moments to pause, breathe, gratitude and mindfulness they share simple ways to reduce stress, support your lives and they remind us to Notice those new now moments.

No Experience Required...


Background - In 2000 I finally started learning yoga and later thought I'd add yoga teacher training to my Retirement to do list to help me learn how to feel better and relax.


After moving to beautiful Vancouver Island in 2002 that was the only thing on my list that I did do.  

Later I started writing and I found these writings created a time to let go of more stress and become more aware of the present moment. 

It became a time full of healing gifts for myself and others.



The self-care and wellness moments had huge valuable results.

It may feel slow and uncomfortable in the beginning because it's something new but soon the awareness and feelings of wellness arrive quicker and easier in ways you may not even notice at first.  

Some days you may only have time for a few words, a paragraph or a thought and that's OK. 

The beauty is that it builds up over time and you carry it with you. 

Soon, my life was heading
in a totally new direction.

I started to feel better, to be better and wanted more.

Later In addition to the Yoga training and various other workshops I also became a Reflexology practitioner and learned the wonderful healing practice of Reiki.

As my awareness and exploration grew, so did I ...


Even to the extent that some of what I was doing took me to various levels of discomfort, but I continued and found that some things we are worst at can turn out to become our best or favorite things if we give them a chance. 
 
The gifts become part of your daily wellness.
