What a gracious and passionate man

going on towards His dream.

His smile is warming and his soulful voice melted into this song.  

While this is a sad song it also encourages us to go on, go on.  

It has been a stressful last few years of much loss, difficulties, storms sickness, war and more around the world. 

Many have lost so much but still hear those words ...

Go On, Go On.

PS. Thanks for your visit this week. 

Life gives all of us many things along our path to work through, fix, change and more. 

As I listened I thought about things in my life and in the lives of others. 

Let's honor that strength and courage in ourselves that we admire in others. 

Our courage often comes from that quiet voice inside that says it will be OK ... I can do it ... or we can try again tomorrow. 

And, thank You to all those helpers along the way.

Wonderful arrangement.

I also enjoyed seeing the young faces in the orchestra. 

They must have been very excited to participate in this video.

I'm speechless and don't know what else to say other than I'll be doing many repeats.

Here's a very popular song sung by many.

I've always liked the Celtic Thunder group, their voices are all different but meld together so beautifully. 

I hope you enjoy this arrangement, 

of a very popular song.

PS. In one of my posts from last year I wrote about all our time growing up we were told we were Irish and then an ancestry test result said I was 75% Scottish. 

Well that was sure a surprise that took awhile to sink in.

It really doesn't matter but it would sure have had our parents looking for answers. 

I wonder what many conversations would have been like if more of us had DNA Ancestry information years ago. 

I don't know if the disagreements would have been more or less (?)

Anyway enjoy this great song with a long history. 

It was written by John Newton in the 1770's.

As I was working on this post I learned that George Donaldson had passed back in 2014. A terrible loss for his family and all those who loved him and were involved in this music group and others. 

I always loved it when he appeared on stage for a song.

Week 1

Many popular artists have sung this song beautifully and this one caught my inner self as the one to share with you today.

I liked the range of the vocals and the orchestra.

It helped me to feel what I needed at this time in my life, and what's happening in our now world. 

I felt the softness of my breath and the knowing that things will get better ...

I felt hope for the World, its People, animals, nature and all its beauty thus letting a bit of Stress release.

I felt some needed Hope and Peace.

I hope you felt some of that too.
