I read this Rumi poem several years ago and I immediately liked it and thought about Father's Day.
It took me awhile to find in the my book again,
but I did it.
It's from The Essential Rumi by Coleman Barks, bottom of page 146.
Humble living does not diminish.
It fills.
Going back to a simpler self gives wisdom.
When a man makes up a story for his child,
he becomes a father and a child,
together, listening.
