Thoughts on the relaxation titled, Enjoy the Beauty from Simply, One Breath At a Time.
It is a great little one pager on page 50 that begins by asking us to rest and "enjoy the beauty of this time, this place, this breath..."
It goes on to talk about peeling back layers or stress and worry etc. by letting the breath soften and release them as you breathe. It seemed years ago that I did this when asked but now I seem to be in a different place and notice that I get to the layers more quickly, and I actually can feel them releasing from a deeper place.
The relaxation then guides us to feel a few different parts of the body one at a time. This again brings us to the present moment and to where we can actually take some time to think about ourselves, our hands, back or face, to feel them and to let each one relax separately.
For a few minutes we are guided to notice the beauty of our breath, place and time, and I'm hoping that in the moments to rest, we will also notice it in ourselves as well...a few minutes for self care...to simply be...how wonderful!
