Reducing the Stresses of Life

Let go and Relax
I LOVE it when someone Thanks me for what I do.

Often at shows I go to visitors will stop for a chat and Thank me for what I am doing to help others.

Over the years I've chatted with many people from different parts of the world and they tell me their Wellness story or one about someone they know.  It is really a privilege to have them share their stories with me.

Recently, one man kept coming back to my table and reading from Simply, One Breath At a Time and the One Rose Cards. He said he wanted to hear my relaxations at his Yoga class so he bought a book to share with his teacher.

A few minutes to Breathe in Relaxation is really needed in these busy and hectic times.

A few minutes to clear the mind lets us escape from our thoughts and problems.

I remember my parents used to tell us when we were kids and upset to sit down, close our eyes and count to 10. That was good advice back then and still is.

When One Rose will do ...

Dona's Dream - help others and send wellness out into the world.

Here's Today's One Rose message.

Something to think about

In  your world,
are you doing what you like to do,
are you laughing and smiling ...

Change is part of life and sometimes it seems to go by fast and other times slow.

We have daily changes, work changes, our family life and traditions change, our age and health changes, and along the way our likes and dislikes may also be changing.

I hear this a lot, You used to like that.

My reply, yes I did 40 years ago.

Is it time for you to check in to see what you want in your life now.

Is it time to see if you're still laughing and smiling.

And, the ANSWER is ... YES!

Have a Great Day Laughing & Smiling!

Dr. Mark Hyman: How Functional Medicine Helps Us Take Back Our Energy, F...

Changing the way we look at things!

Marie TV - Marie Forleo

Medicine is Changing.

Dona Anderson

I'm excited that the practice of medicine is changing.

We're finding out so much more about the body and how it works.

Even the practices of Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Massage Therapy, Reflexology, Reiki, and many others are recognized more and more for their wonderful Healing Benefits and are changing lives.

Remember it wasn't that long ago when Acupuncture was not recognized and lots of illnesses were not understood or thought of as being all in our heads.

I also remember years ago when I needed some treatment after our vehicle was rear ended my Doctor was writing me referrals for Massage Therapy and the Chiropractor while she was saying she didn't really know what they did but I could try it.

I thought I'd share this video with you so we can continue to
learn more and support  change in the doctor offices, in our homes,
grocery stores and in the way we think.

The more we know the better questions we can ask.

Spring time on Vancouver Island, Canada begins early and is a long, gradual rebirth of all that is beautiful.

It's full of color, sounds and life.

I've let go of Fall (Autumn)  being my favorite season because of where we live.

Spring has taken over but both have some similarities. Not too hot & not too cold, and both offers us lots of interest, colors and change.

One comes from winter and the other leads into it.

One starts to fill in the open spaces, the other again opens up the spaces.

Meditation to Celebrate the Treasures of
Spring

Find a comfortable place to rest and over the next few minutes just connect with your breath.

Each inhale and exhale ...

Now begin to soften your eyes and ears ...
soften your face ...
soften your shoulders ...

Feel yourself letting go of any tension and stress you may be holding, gently breathe and let it all go ...

Start to let go of old thoughts so you can replace them with the many
Treasures of Spring ...

As thoughts and stresses leave your body, feel spaces opening up for
your breath to move gently and freely ...

Bring awareness to this healing breath and to feelings of rejuvenation ...

Bring awareness to new beginnings, a new season of growth,
change and rewards ...

Feel your body, mind and breath now all opening and inviting Spring in ...

This spring, Smile as you wake up to the sun rises filling your home with soft morning light.

As new flowers bloom, Absorb their beauty, colors and soothing fragrances.

Listen to the birds joyful songs of celebration as they return to begin again.

Embrace the blossoms of the trees as their gifts to you and the world.

Feel the freshness of soft drops of warm rain on your face.

Notice the ongoing changes as gifts that connect you to new present moments.

Breathe in and let gratitude fill your whole body with inner peace.

And this spring instead of old thoughts and stresses, Invite in simplicity, ease, calm and freshness.

Smile. Absorb. Listen. Embrace. Feel. Notice. Breathe. Invite.

Now close our eyes and rest for a few more minutes ...

Namaste.
