There's no Place like Home

Mother Earth

Giving Nurturing Guiding

and, accepting of whatever she finds...

Time for another True Treasures post.

Dona Anderson

This post is sharing parts of the relaxation titled Mother Earth on pages 36-37 from  my book,
Simply, One Breath At a Time.

It's time to share a bit of it now.

It starts off with getting you to relax and to choose to be in this moment by helping your breath to breathe you ... help your breath to calm your mind and body.

As you settle imagine the weight of your whole body sinking into the earth ... feel the sense of grounding, of being fully supported by the earth so you can let go with intention and awareness.

I love this next part.

Feel the strength and compassion in which you are being held ... become aware of how you are held without judgment or any gratuities ... that being held is just that, wanting nothing in return ... Mother Earth holds you because that is what she does, she holds us all, and she is accepting of whatever she finds ...

The relaxation then guides you to your breath, letting go, surrendering, releasing and replenishing towards feeling awoken, revived and present.

It ends by returning you to noticing the stillness of this moment.

This moment is Perfect exactly as it is ...

PS. OK, here's another line from the script.

"Say the word calm as you breathe in... can you feel calm as you breathe out ... breathe in calmness and feel calm as you let go..."

Take Care - I hope you enjoyed this True Treasures Post

I wanted to help us connect to Earth Day which for us here in Canada is in a couple of days, April 22.

Whether this post helps you connect to Earths' beauty and magic or it's in your garden, park or community we're needing to support our beautiful earth in many ways.

Let's share some of our ways in the comments.

Every little bit helps. Thank You.

I hope you've enjoyed these 4 posts dedicated to Earth Day and are feeling a bit more connected to this beautiful world of ours.

I think of this Earth, our World and its People as being One.

And, I've seen many examples of how one person can make
a huge difference to make changes and help others.

For my last Earth Day post I thought I'd share this picture along with the ending of the Meditation, Why Should We, in Moving Forward from the Heart.

Why should we support the future of the World?

Because each one of us can make a difference.

We can be more kind, understanding and compassionate to others.

We can listen more, use better words, be more creative, intuitive and expand our role to being guardians, caretakers, and caregivers over that of bystanders and consumers.

We can -You can - I can.

Thanks, regular posts returning next Tuesday - Have a great week.

There are a thousand ways to Kiss the Earth ~ Rumi

Have you thought about a Walking Meditation?

Photo Messages - Dona Anderson

It's a special time to find what treasures are in your yard, neighborhood, local park or even what may have gone unnoticed along your regular walking trail.

Often our thoughts take over and we just walk without paying attention to what is around us, or what has changed.

Spring is a wonderful time of year to get out by yourself and pay attention to the colors, textures and new growth around you.

This time have fun and listen to your breath, feel the warmth or coolness in the air, notice the smells, listen to the birds and even your own footsteps along the way.

Enjoy and notice the gifts from the Earth and know that you can celebrate the beauty and magic of nature anytime, and along with it feel the beauty and wonder of your own presence.

Check out this video and you'll think about trees differently in the future.
