When you need some self care so you can be the best you can be for yourself and your family, where do you go?  Is it the right place?

Do you know others who need a small gift of wellness?  A small gift that can make a huge difference in their lives.

A few words can be what makes the difference in our day
and for those we love.

Simply, One Breath At a Time is only one book but it offers gifts for a lifetime.  When we see others hurting, in pain, or sad we want to help.  A few moments of guided relaxation to Breathe, Soften, Nurture and Restore can help us get rid of some of those accumulative affects of stress and tension.

See for yourself how the simple, gentle words that make up the 65 titles in this book will help make a difference right away!

Let it be part of your own personal wellness, gift it to friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or donate it to your church, local library or wellness centre.  It will not only make a difference in your life but when you share it you will know that you made a difference in the lives of others and all those they are in contact with.

It’s like the smile or good deed that is passed on and on!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole

I Love Maui

Here's another Favorite Song

Roots to Breath, Dona Anderson

Love and light to everyone!

Aloha! Just back from 10 days in beautiful Maui!

Loved it all!

I got to attend a destination Wedding in a most beautiful setting and while there enjoyed the Hana bus tour, a sunset dinner cruise, the shops, the beach, sunsets, flowers and even walking in the heavy rain from Hurricane Ana (thankfully it was warm and no wind), and  I took over 200 pictures!

While I still have Maui on my mind I want to share this song video with you that I have loved for years. A perfect song to connect us all to our beautiful world!

Take Care and Have a Great Day!

It's Happening Now and You'll Want to be Part of It

You'll want to be part of this Revolution!

A Spiritual Awakening

Ever wondered why you do the things you do?

I know the Hay House World Summit 2014 Facebook group is already
out there doing wonderful and exciting work around the world!

You all can be part of the undercover work!

I hope you will take a couple of minutes to read this lovely message (Author Unknown).  It really speaks to us about the simple things we all can do that make a difference in the world and to others, or to realize that you are already doing things and maybe weren't sure why.

  A SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

On the surface of the world right now there is
war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time,
something else is happening underground
An inner revolution is taking place
and certain individuals are being called to a higher light.
It is a silent revolution.
From the inside out. From the ground up.
This is a Global operation.
A Spiritual AWAKENING.
There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet.
You won't see us on the T.V.
You won't read about us in the newspaper
You won't hear about us on the radio
We don't seek any glory
We don't wear any uniform
We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles
Most of us work anonymously
We are quietly working behind the scenes
in every country and culture of the world
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys,
in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands
You could pass by one of us on the street
and not even notice
We go undercover
We remain behind the scenes
It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done
Occasionally we spot each other in the street
We give a quiet nod and continue on our way
During the day many of us pretend we have normal jobs
But behind the false storefront at night
is where the real work takes a place
Some call us the Conscious Army
We are slowly creating a new world
with the power of our minds and hearts
We follow, with passion and joy
Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love bombs when no one is looking
Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Movies ~ Kind words ~
Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~ Social activism ~ Websites
Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness...
We each express ourselves in our own unique ways
with our own unique gifts and talents
Be the change you want to see in the world
That is the motto that fills our hearts
We know it is the only way real transformation takes place
We know that quietly and humbly we have the
power of all the oceans combined
Our work is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance
And yet with it entire tectonic plates
shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century
You don't have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it
It comes from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings
Be the change you want to see in the world
Nobody else can do it for you
We are now recruiting
Perhaps you will join us
Or already have.
All are welcome
The door is open.

Thanks for Showing Up!

Dona Anderson

Gratitude from the Heart

Appreciate all the seen and unseen things around you!

Roots to Breath, Dona Anderson

Thanks for Showing Up!

You know the ones - there are so many!

It’s that time of year when we start thinking about the upcoming holidays, being thankful, giving, celebrating, and taking some special moments for reflection.

So I thought I’d send out my thanks to all those who show up every day to support our lives and help keep us healthy and safe.  Some work through both the good and bad times like police, military, firefighters, ambulances and hospitals.

Some go out in storms to plow roads, tow us, restore services, do search and rescue, and don’t forget about those who provide the food to feed us.  There are those who keep the stores, schools, services, businesses, and cities running, safe, and clean.  There are those who care for and nurture us, those that teach, build, fix, create, transport, entertain, inform and inspire us, and those who explore our world to change the future or help us learn from the past.

I am grateful to all those who show up, help out, and do their jobs the best they can each day. Everyday there is so much happening that we sometimes don’t notice what all goes into making our days and lives run smoothly, and only notice what went wrong.

Each of us will have our own special list of individuals to thank, and thinking back I will always remember how someone was there to help ...

like in 1969 when we needed oil for our furnace on a very cold Christmas morning in Saskatchewan,

when our house burned down on Good Friday in 1970,

when we were stopped on the Coquihalla highway for 8 hours in a snow storm,

when I needed an ambulance, the times we needed a vet,

when the dental assistant held my hand again and again,

and making it through all those crazy days at work.

I want to sincerely thank those who showed up at work or an event after some kind of crisis in their own lives.  We often don’t know what someone just went through before they were there for us that day.

I’d like to thank all those who when others couldn’t make it, things broke down, or in times of total chaos they took on the extra load and made us think and feel that all was well, nothing was wrong, and it was work as usual.

My heart goes out to all those wonderful volunteers whose dedication supports our communities and our world.  They are everywhere, and the survival of so many services and organizations depend upon them and their work – Thank you!

Thank you to all those who greet us with a smile whether it’s at work, on a walk, at the market, in a line up, or anywhere else.

Please know that those smiles were always passed on!

And, thanks to friends, family, and neighbors for simply showing up at the door or calling to say Hi - you will never know how many times it was perfect timing.

Thank You, Thank You!

Thanks to You for your visit, and
I hope you'll pass this one to others
so we can all join together and send
more Thank You's out into the World!

Please enjoy each moment of everyday!

Roots to Breath, Dona Anderson

I know a lot of things will go through our minds when we hear that question but if we don't have  another breath and a heartbeat, nothing else matters.

I was an exhibitor at a Women's Show on the weekend where I was reminded how wonderful it is give out samples of my One Rose Wellness Cards and have that connection with the visitors.  I shared with one person about a lady at previous show who picked the message below and then told me she had a bad heart attack and how true the message was she happened to pick.

"Say to yourself, the rest of my life begins with my next breath ... "

I took a few pictures of my table and thought I'd share this one with You!.  From Simply, One Breath At A Time the guided relaxation titled,  A Heartbeat.

A Heartbeat, from Simply, One Breath at a Time

Please give yourself the gift of a few minutes to relax and connect with your heart and your breath.
