The seasons have changed and

Spring has now arrived!

It's time to get out by yourself or invite a Friend,

to

hear the birds singing,

see the new blossoms emerge,

feel the sun and the warmer breeze,

and maybe

it is time to renew your wellness practice.

So how about just going for a short walk, a Walking Meditation,
to Breathe and Enjoy what you see.

Hope you find a bench or chair along the way.

Nature Is Speaking – Julia Roberts is Mother Nature | Conservation Inter...

Less than 2 Minutes!

Dona Anderson

As the seasons have just changed this is a great video to watch and think about this beautiful place we live and how it and our lives change!

We are caretakers spending only a moment in time on this planet.

What we do in those moments makes a difference.

Our life is the accumulation of our unique moments.

No one's life will be like yours.

Your life's work is held in those unique moments - the ever changing hopes and dreams, emotions, achievements,  mistakes, learning, and the giving and receiving.

Let go of what you need to, change what you need to, forgive yourself or others if you need to, be kind to yourself and make YOU a priority and the Master of your life!

Life is Short!

A Snapshot of Peace

What's in Your Space

Dona Anderson

Checking out old pictures.

Dona Anderson

I love these little places where you can just sit and enjoy.

Nothing fancy or expensive but it gives the gift of peace and warmth.

Luckily this one in our house has 3 of my favorite things.

The poinsettia from the Christmas past still blooming.

My Himalayan salt lamp that looks so beautiful in the evening, and my precious Scottie Dog ornament.

Hope you like it too!

DonaAnderson

There are so many yoga stories and I want to hear about some of them!

I have my own continuing story as you've probably read in different posts here.

And, I'm always eager to hear how others started, and where it went or didn't!

Is it about how or why you got started, who took you to that first class, how you felt after a few classes, how yoga changed you, a favorite teacher or pose, a funny class moment ...

WHAT is it?

Use the comments area below!

I am excited to hear your stories!

I know some stories may be about travelling to some exotic place, some will be about life changes, compassion and growth, some will probably make us laugh or cry.

Some may be about healing, getting to know yourself and your body, or maybe the connections you made with others.

Or, it could be that you hate chants, or maybe haven't found the right class yet ...

My Yoga Story is ...

Get others thinking by sharing

I bet your Yoga Teachers will have some GREAT Stories!

I think whoever loves Yoga, has at least one story to tell.

Look down

Dona Anderson

Where do you look when you're walking?

Dona Anderson

Forgetting to look around more with awareness is one of my things to improve ( I first used my many faults but this is a negative thought - another thing I need to not do)

Taking the camera along helps me notice more as I'm looking around more and have a purpose - something to take a picture of, write on, or share with you.

Sometimes things are placed perfectly for us to see if we just take a moment to notice what is right in front or below us.

Confession time - it's also a very relaxing walking meditation for me that means even more when I get to share it.

My Breath

 Whisper to yourself,

I let my breath touch the tip of my nose,
and the tips of each one of my toes.

I let my breath touch the tips of my fingers
and in the spaces between, it lingers.

I let my breath touch the back of my ears,
and it feels the softness of my tears.

I let my breath touch the back of my knees,
and all the organs inside me that are under a bit of a squeeze.

I let my breath touch the bottom of my chin,
and all the hidden places on my skin.

I let my breath touch my soft belly parts,
and especially the soft spots in my heart.

I let my breath touch all those places
inside me that smile,
and it will change
those places that don’t in awhile!
