Time-Lapse: Watch Flowers Bloom Before Your Eyes

Spring is Here!

YES.

Love this video.

It's amazing to watch the time lapse flowers and to see the changes as they bloom.
Beautiful.

Dona Anderson

I always feel that our spring starts early as some of the flower bulbs start growing in late December and sneak above ground for a month or so until they start getting bigger when it's warmer.

We had more cold, snow, rain & wind than normal over the winter so good to see these ones brighten our yard and spirit. Photo left March 22, 2022

Is Spring one of your favorite seasons?

Gifts from our garden last year.

Have a great week and new posts every Tuesday.

Love that the birds are more active
now and singing lots during the day.

PSOne more for you today is a few lines from an ancient Navajo Walk in Beauty Prayer. It certainly fits into the gifts of Spring.

"With beauty before me I walk
With beauty behind me I walk
With beauty above me I walk
With beauty around me I walk
It has become beauty again"

MY Photo - Love Vancouver Island BC

"The happy heart runs with
the river,
floats on the  air,
lifts to the music,
soars with the eagles,
hopes with the prayers."
~Maya Angelou~

It's the Perfect time to share this quote.

Our Spring season starts in a few days and it's already an exciting time of year.

We have a gradual arrival to spring over several months as new flowers appear and I always love when it's cherry blossom time.

It's getting warmer out so the Rivers will be happily flowing as the winter snow melts in the mountains.

The Air is mixed with the scents of Spring flowers as they take their turns blooming in a rainbow of colors

Music is all around as the birds start singing to let us know it's morning and they seem to be happily welcoming back their friends after the winter away.

And I'm sure our Eagles are busy getting nests ready.   I always love to see them high in the sky or resting in a tree.

Our Heart is happy!

Thanks for your visit today.

It's amazing how fast the year is going but I always love Springtime here.

Lots of flowers to come over the next few months, lettuce is growing in the green house, gardens being prepared and more daylight. 💚

GARDEN in your DREAMS

Starts with ...

"Let me sit for awhile in this

place where the sun is warm

 and roses bloom ..."

Dona Anderson

I was outside one beautiful day in late July and decided that the colors of the flowers and vegetables in the yard that were so lovely would be my pick for the Winner of the Garden this year.

Have a look back at this post from May about the garden picks for previous years.

Later as I sat on the deck the Meditation titled Garden in your Dreams, page 63 from my book Moving forward from the Heart started to appear in my mind.

It's about a special garden and although I didn't refer to it as a Chakra Meditation in the book, it goes through all the colors of the chakra rainbow.

The second paragraph says

"As each breath gently fills and opens your senses, begin to visualize a dream garden full of flowers, vegetables, fruit, trees, soft grass and a pond. Birds come to visit, good friends come to visit, and it's here that every day is a really good day.

It then takes you around the yard to connect to all the different colors, to see, smell & taste some and to rest and connect to others.

That's what I was doing that day.

Relaxing in a garden full of happiness and renewal

A place for friendships and memories

A place where you can dream,

and let everything else gently fade away.

Here's some of what I got to see

Red - petunias, gladiolas, geraniums, roses, berries, pears, beets, tomatoes, peppers
Orange - gladiolas, nasturtiums, lilies, other flowers, carrots, peppers
Yellow - sun flowers, squash, roses, other flowers, beans, peppers
Green- grass, leaves, lettuce, cucumbers, beans, peppers, basil, herbs
Blue - sky, other flowers, pond, Hydrangeas, pansies
Indigo - Hydrangeas, pansies, lavender, other flowers, berries, gladiolas
Violet- Hydrangea (I have 6 of them) dahlias, roses, other flowers

Besides the seeing - there was definitely a lot
of tasting going on.
Sorry -
I don't remember the
names of the other
flowers from the
garden center.

What's your garden about?

Have a wonderful day and please
visit again soon.

Love the Tulips

The beautiful Colors and

fragrances of Spring,

and in this post we get time to
Breathe & Relax

Dona Anderson

I'm sharing with you two parts of the last guided relaxation titled, Permission to Rest in my book, Simply, One Breath At a Time, page 127.

The beginning. Go slowly and I like to repeat this several times.

Say to yourself... I give myself permission to rest...to become quiet, to simply be here.

After you pause to enjoy the photo, check out the ending.

Amazing Photo from last year

I can almost smell their wonderful Fragrance

continue slowly

Now, the ending.

If I take a breath and let it slowly, I feel the difference...when I feel the difference, I get a glimpse of what is possible...

When I get a glimpse of what is possible, I open up more...

When I open up and get in touch with the rhythm of myself, I participate more fully in the movement to breathe freely, with intention...

When I breathe more freely and with intention, I begin to live with presence and awareness...

This presence and awareness graciously nourishes and fills my body, my mind and my spirit ...

How do you want this moment to be...
exactly as it is...
